Managing Incomplete Text to Give Donations

When a donor starts a Text-to-Give donation but leaves before completing the process, ClickBid records it as an Incomplete donation. You can review these donations, send reminder texts to donors who entered their phone number, or remove incomplete entries that don't contain any donor information.

🎟️ Viewing Incomplete Text-to-Give Donations

To view donations that were started but not completed:

1. Go to Donations / Text-to-Give.
2. Click Manage Donations.
3. Review the donation list for entries with an Incomplete status.

• An Incomplete donation means the donor began the donation process but did not finish submitting their payment.
• Incomplete donations do not count toward your donation total.

📱 Sending a Reminder Text

If the donor entered their phone number before leaving the donation process, you can send them a reminder to complete their donation.

1. Locate the Incomplete donation in Manage Donations.
2. Find the donor's phone number in the donation record.
3. Click Resend Text under the Tags column.

• The donor will receive another text message with a link to continue and complete their donation.

🚫 Incomplete Donations Without a Phone Number

Sometimes an Incomplete donation will appear without a phone number.

• This means the donor left the donation process before entering their phone number.
• Since there is no contact information, you cannot send a reminder text.
• These incomplete entries do not count toward your donation total.

To remove these records:

1. Locate the incomplete donation without a phone number.
2. Click the Remove button on the far right of the entry.
