[Little Green Light](https://support.cbo.io/integrations-partners?hsLang=en#little-green-light) # 🔗 How to Set Up and Use the Little Green Light Integration -Releasing October 26, 2026 The Little Green Light integration connects your ClickBid event to your Little Green Light (LGL) database so constituent records, bidder information, and event sales flow between the two systems without manual re-entry. Once connected, you can import existing constituents as bidders, export bidders back to Little Green Light, push event sales as gifts, and set up automatic syncing on a schedule. **🚨 Releasing on Monday, October 26, 2026** #### ✅ Before You Start You will need the following before connecting: - An active Little Green Light account with API access enabled - A Little Green Light API key - ClickBid event admin access to the Integrations page ##### How to Get Your Little Green Light API Key 1. Log in to Little Green Light as an administrator. 2. Go to **Settings \> Integration Settings \> LGL API**. 3. Create a new API key. If ClickBid is listed as an available service, select it. If not, choose **Custom** to create a key for a new integration. 4. Copy the API key, you will need it to connect in ClickBid. ℹ️ If your Little Green Light account is still in the 30-day trial period, API access may not be enabled yet. From the same **Settings \> Integration Settings \> LGL API** area, request API access before proceeding.  --- #### 🔌 Step 1: Connect Little Green Light to ClickBid 1. In the left-hand navigation, click **Integrations** to expand the menu. 2. Click **Dashboard**. 3. Find **Little Green Light** and click **Connect**. 4. Enter your **Little Green Light API Key** when prompted. 5. ClickBid will validate the key and store the connection for your event. Once connected, the full Little Green Light menu will appear in your left-hand navigation under **Integrations**, including Settings, Data Mappings, Import Bidders, Export Bidders, Export Sales, and Activity Log. ![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-12-56-8781-PM.png?width=626&height=327&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-12-56-8781-PM.png) ![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-13-47-5572-PM.png?width=670&height=277&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-13-47-5572-PM.png) To disconnect at any time, return to the Integrations Dashboard and click **Connected** on the Little Green Light card. ![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-14-29-3437-PM.png?width=360&height=367&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-14-29-3437-PM.png) --- #### ⚙️ Step 2: Configure Sync Settings and Defaults Go to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Settings** to configure how data flows from ClickBid to Little Green Light. ##### Sync Defaults Everything ClickBid exports to Little Green Light is filed using these defaults unless an Export Type Override says otherwise. Values come from your Little Green Light fundraising structure. Set the following fields to control where exported gifts are filed in Little Green Light: | Field | Description | | --- | --- | | Fund | The Little Green Light fund to attribute gifts to | | Campaign | The campaign to associate gifts with | | Appeal | The appeal to associate gifts with | | Gift Category | The gift category in Little Green Light | | Gift Type | The payment method type in Little Green Light | | Little Green Light Event | The LGL event to link gifts to | | Send Acknowledgment | When set to No, exported gifts are flagged do-not-acknowledge so Little Green Light does not send a duplicate receipt. | 💡 Set your Sync Defaults first, then use Export Type Overrides only where specific transaction types need to be routed differently.  ##### **![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-16-54-8983-PM.png?width=670&height=253&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-16-54-8983-PM.png)** ##### Export Type Overrides If you need different routing for specific transaction types, use the **Export Type Overrides** table to set Fund, Campaign, Appeal, Gift Category, and Gift Type for each of the following separately: Silent Auction, Live Auction, Fixed Price (QTY), Donation, Ticket, and Donated Fees. Leave any field as **None** to fall back to the Sync Default for that field. ![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-18-12-5463-PM.png?width=670&height=231&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-18-12-5463-PM.png) ##### Auto-Sync Toggle **Auto-Sync** on to automatically export bidders and sales to Little Green Light on a regular schedule without any manual action. Click **Sync Now** to run a sync on demand at any time. ![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-18-29-3621-PM.png?width=360&height=197&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-18-29-3621-PM.png) ⚠️ **Sync Now** only pushes records if Auto-Sync is turned on. If Auto-Sync is off, clicking Sync Now will complete without sending any data. Turn on Auto-Sync before using Sync Now.   --- #### 🗺️ Step 3: Configure Data Mappings Data Mappings control where contact information lands in Little Green Light when bidders are exported. 1. Go to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Data Mappings**. 2. Under **Constituent Mappings**, set the following fields to control which Little Green Light contact slot receives each piece of the bidder's information: | Field | Description | | --- | --- | | Address Type | Which LGL address type to use (e.g. Home, Work) | | Phone Type | Which LGL phone type to use (e.g. Mobile, Home) | | Email Type | Which LGL email type to use (e.g. Home, Work) |      3.  Click **Save Data Mappings**. ![](https://support.cbo.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-19-45-7858-PM.png?width=670&height=250&name=image-png-Oct-05-2026-08-19-45-7858-PM.png) --- #### 📥 Step 4: Import Bidders from Little Green Light If you want to pull existing Little Green Light constituents into your event as bidders before the event: 1. Go to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Import Bidders**. 2. Use the **Search** field to find specific constituents, or use the **Show** dropdown to control how many entries display at a time. 3. Use the **Imported?** filter to show constituents that have already been imported, have not been imported yet, or all records. 4. Check the box next to each constituent you want to import. 5. Click **Import**. Imported constituents are linked to their Little Green Light record so any future activity in ClickBid syncs back to the correct constituent. ℹ️ The integration matches imported constituents to existing ClickBid bidder records where possible to avoid creating duplicates.  #### 📤 Step 5: Export Bidders to Little Green Light After your event, push ClickBid bidders to Little Green Light as constituent records. 1. Go to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Export Bidders**. 2. Use the **Search** field to find specific bidders. The table shows First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, State, Little Green Light ID, and Operation. 3. For each bidder, use the **Operation** dropdown to choose what should happen in Little Green Light: | Operation | What it does | | --- | --- | | None | No action taken for this bidder | | Create New Constituent | Creates a new constituent record in Little Green Light | | Link to Existing Constituent | Links the bidder to an existing LGL record without creating a duplicate | | Update Phone and Email | Updates the linked constituent's phone and email | 1. Check the boxes next to the bidders you want to process. 2. Click **Export/Update** and confirm.   💡 Use **Link to Existing Constituent** for anyone already in your Little Green Light database. This prevents duplicate constituent records and keeps your data clean.    --- 💰 Step 6: Export Sales to Little Green Light Push ticket, sponsorship, auction purchases, and donations to Little Green Light as gifts attributed to the correct constituent. 1. Go to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Export Sales**. 2. The table shows Item Name, Donor Name, Donor ID, Amount, Fair Market value, Date, Phone, Email, and Little Green Light Match. 3. Review the **Little Green Light Match** column for each sale. This shows whether a matching constituent was found in Little Green Light. If no match is found, you can choose to have a new constituent created automatically. 4. To manually adjust a match, click the **edit icon** next to the sale to link it to a specific constituent, or click the **search icon** to look one up. 5. Check the boxes next to the sales you want to export. 6. Click **Export Sales**. ℹ️ After your export is complete, you can view the results and confirm everything was received correctly in the **Activity Log**.  ##### 🔍 Verifying Your Exported Sales in Little Green Light After exporting sales from ClickBid, you can verify they landed correctly in Little Green Light in two ways. **Option A: Check the Constituent Record** 1. Log in to Little Green Light. 2. Go to **Constituents** and search for the donor by name, email, or ID. 3. Open the constituent's record. 4. In the right-hand panel, review the **Giving Summary** to confirm the gift amount and date appear correctly. 5. Scroll down to the **Related Activity** section to see the full gift details including the item name, amount, campaign, fund, appeal, event, and gift category that were exported from ClickBid. **Option B: Check via Fundraising Events** 1. In Little Green Light, go to **Fundraising \> Events**. 2. Locate your event in the list and click on it. 3. Review the **Giving** column to confirm the total raised and gift count match what was exported from ClickBid. 💡 The gift record in Little Green Light will show the item name from ClickBid, the amount, the date of sale, and the fund, campaign, appeal, and event it was attributed to based on your Sync Defaults or Export Type Overrides. If any of those fields look incorrect, go back to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Settings** and adjust your Sync Defaults or Export Type Overrides, then re-export.  --- #### 📋 Step 7: Monitor with the Activity Log The Activity Log records any errors that have occurred in the last 3 months so you can confirm what synced and troubleshoot anything that did not. 1. Go to **Integrations \> Little Green Light \> Activity Log**. 2. Use the filters to narrow results: | Filter | Options | | --- | --- | | Type | Filter by the type of sync action | | Status | Filter by Successful, Failure, or Pending | | Source | Filter by All Sources or a specific source | | Date Range | Enter a start and end date to narrow the log | 1. Click **Filter Logs** to apply your filters. 2. Review the **Response** column for any failures to see the error message returned from Little Green Light. To remove a log entry manually, check the box next to it and click **Remove Log**.
