HGA Fundraising's Trip Portal lets you browse a curated collection of luxury travel packages and push them directly into your ClickBid auction event, complete with professional images, pricing, and terms, in just a few clicks.
⚙️ How It Works
Every trip you add from the HGA Trip Portal follows the same four-step process:
- Browse the Trip Catalog and explore available luxury travel packages.
- Open a trip you love to review the full details: description, images, FMV, suggested starting bid, bid increment, buy-now price, and terms & conditions.
- Click the Add to My Event button on the trip page and enter your ClickBid credentials.
- Hit Submit and the entire trip pushes directly into your ClickBid event and is ready for bidding.
Before you get started, you'll need two things from your ClickBid account: your Event ID and your API Token. The steps below walk you through finding both.
⚙️ Step 1: Navigate to API Settings in ClickBid
- Log in to ClickBid admin at cbo.io/admin
- Go to the event you want to add items too
- To locate your Event ID in the left-hand menu under "User Information"
- Save this Event ID as you will need it when you go to HGA Fundraising software.
- The Event Id is the numbers in blue next to the event name

- Next: from the left-hand menu click API Settings. (located between the Integrations and Organization tabs)

🔑 Step 2: Create a New API Event Token
- Click Create Token.
- From the drop down select the specific event you want to integrate .
- Enter a name for your token (example: HGA TripSync ).
- Click Update Token.
- Then click the copy icon in the right of the popup as you will need the event Id and token when you go to HGA's page.

⚠️This token will not be shown again, so be sure to save it in a secure location before leaving the page.
➕ How to Push a Trip to Your ClickBid Event
Once you have your Event ID and API Token, you're ready to add trips.
- Go to the HGA Trip Portal and browse the catalog.
- Click into a trip you want to add to your event.
- Click the gold Add to My Event button on the trip page.
- In the platform dropdown, select ClickBid.
- Paste your Event ID into the first field.
- Paste your API Token into the second field.
- Click Push to Event.
- Within a few seconds you'll see a confirmation: "Added Successfully!"
- Open your ClickBid event dashboard. Go to Items> Manage Items: The new item is there with all images, pricing, and copy loaded automatically.
Your Event ID and API Token only need to be entered once per session. Once entered, you can push as many trips as you like to the same event without re-entering your credentials.
📝 Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I paste the Event ID and API Token? On any trip page, click "Add to My Event," choose ClickBid as your platform, and paste the values into the Event ID and API Token fields.
Will pushing a trip overwrite an existing item in my event? No. Each push creates a brand new auction item in your ClickBid event. If you accidentally push the same trip twice, you'll see two copies. Simply delete the duplicate from your ClickBid event dashboard.
Are images included automatically? Yes. All professional images, descriptions, pricing, and terms push to ClickBid automatically. No copy-pasting needed.
Can I edit the trip after it's pushed? Absolutely. Once added, the item lives entirely inside your ClickBid event. You can edit the title, description, images, pricing, and starting bid directly from your ClickBid dashboard.
I got a 401 / Unauthorized error. What do I do? This means ClickBid rejected your API Token. Double-check that you copied the entire token with no extra spaces, that it hasn't been revoked, and that it belongs to the same organization as the Event ID you entered.
Is there a cost to use the Trip Portal?
No. The Trip Portal is a free resource provided by HGA Fundraising to our partner organizations and event organizers.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser. As long as you can log in to your auction platform and copy two values from it, you can use the Trip Portal.
