✈️ How to Add Charity Experiences to Your ClickBid Event

Charity Experiences is now integrated directly with ClickBid, making it faster and easier to add travel experiences to your event. Instead of building items manually, you can browse available experiences, review details, and send them directly into your ClickBid event using an Event ID and Event Token.

Follow the steps below to connect your account and start adding experiences.

⚙️ Step 1: Navigate to API Settings in ClickBid

  1. Log in to ClickBid.

  2. From the left-hand menu click API Settings.

🔑 Step 2: Create a New API Event Token

  1. Click Create Token.

  2. Select the specific event you want to integrate.

  3. Enter a name for your token (example: CharityExperiences).

  4. Click Update Token.

⚠️Charity Experiences requires an Event Token, not an Organization Token.

🔐 Step 3: Secure Your API Token

  1. Your new API Token will be displayed.

  2. Copy the full token immediately.

  3. Save it in a secure location.

⚠️This token will not be shown again, so be sure to save it before leaving the page.

🔍 Step 4: Find Your Event ID

  1. Stay on the API Tokens area.

  2. In the table, locate the Organization/Event column.

  3. Look for your event listed as “Event #####”.

  4. The number shown is your Event ID.

    • Example: “Event 21523” → Event ID = 21523

  5. Save your Event ID.

✅ Step 5: Confirm You Have What You Need

Before continuing, make sure you have both:

  • Event ID

  • Event Token

You’ll need these to send experiences into your event.

🔗 Step 6: Open the Integrations Dashboard

  1. In ClickBid, click Integrations from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Dashboard.

🌍 Step 7: Launch Charity Experiences

  1. Scroll to the Third-Party Integrations section.

  2. Locate Charity Experiences card.

  3. Click the Go To Integrations button

  4. This will open the Charity Experiences experience library.

🔎 Step 8: Choose an Experience

  1. Browse available experiences.

  2. Click View Details on the experience you want.

  3. Review the trip details, terms, and pricing.

➕ Step 9: Send the Experience to Your Event

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the experience page.

  2. In the Trip Resources section, click Send to Event API.

🧾 Step 10: Enter Your Event Credentials

  1. A popup will appear labeled Enter Event Details.

  2. Enter your Event ID.

  3. Enter your Event Token.

  4. Click Submit.

🔁 Step 11: Repeat for Additional Experiences

To add more experiences:

  1. Select another experience.

  2. Click View Details.

  3. Click Send to Event API.

  4. Enter the same Event ID and Event Token.

  5. Click Submit.


⚠️ Important Notes

  • You must click Send to Event API for each individual experience you want to add.

  • Your Event ID and Event Token will remain the same for that event.

  • If working across multiple events, each event will have its own Event ID and will require a separate token.
