🕰️ How to Set an Item Closing Time
👀 What is the Item Closing Time?
The Item Closing Time is the exact moment when bidding ends for a specific item. Once that time passes, bidders can no longer place bids. Setting closing times helps you control auction flow, stagger the end of bidding, and give yourself time to announce winners and finalize totals.
ℹ️ Item Closing Time only controls when bidding ends at the item level. If you need to change the overall auction closing date for your event, contact your Account Manager at help@cbo.io.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the closing time after bidding has started?
Yes. You can update the closing time at any time as long as you do not push it to a time that has already passed or your items will close.
Can I set different closing times for different categories?
Yes. Filter your items by category using the Manage Items table, select the items in that category, and use Batch Update to apply a closing time to just that group.
