From accepted cards to fee settings, here’s how to make sure everything runs smoothly for your bidders. --- #### **⚙️ How to Access Payment Settings** To view or adjust your payment processing setup: 1. Go to **Software Settings** in the admin. 2. Click **Auction Settings**. 3. Select the **Payment** tab. Credit card processing is already set up in your account. To view, go to **Software Settings \> Auction Settings \> Payment.** --- #### **💳 Accepted Cards and Payment Requirements** - **Visa** and **Mastercard** are accepted. - The card must be credit-branded (not debit cards requiring a PIN). - **CVV codes** are required for security. - **Billing Postal Code** is required when saving a credit card to a bidder’s record. We do **not** store credit card numbers in ClickBid. This is why CVV and postal code are required during entry. --- #### **📲 Text-to-Give in Canada** Text-to-Give is available! Use the **855 number** located on your **Home Page \> Important Links** section to share with your donors. Add this number to your event signage, slides, or donation appeals to make giving quick and mobile-friendly. --- #### **🧾 Credit Card Fees for Canadian Accounts** - The default credit card fee for Canadian accounts is **3.59%**. - To cover this fee and retain the full donation or purchase amount, we recommend charging **3.724%** . #### ✅ How to Charge Bidders the Credit Card Fee 1. Go to **Software Settings**. 2. Click **Auction Settings**. 3. Select the **Payment** tab. 4. Enable **Capture CC Fees – 3.724%**. Since nothing is received in return for that additional amount it is treated as a donation, which is why it will display as over FMV on the bidder statements.  --- #### **🚫 Unsupported Features in Canada (for now)** - **Check payments** are not available; only **ACH transfers** can be processed when requesting a payout.
